How do I join a Urantia Book study group. Where do I find meeting times and dates?
On the home page, you can input a zip code, city, state, or country to explore study groups that may be in your area. When a group's name comes up in the search results clicking on it will give you the meeting days and times. If there are no groups in your area you might consider registering yourself as a contact interested in finding readers in your town or in beginning a study group.
How do I register my study group?
First, click on "Register a Study Group"
Then, on the next page, make sure you click on "I agree with and accept the Terms of Agreement"
Fill in all the text boxes including the security code and the secret question (answer = Urantia)
Next, the system will send you an email that you need to reply to in order to verify your email address
You simply click on the link in the email
Then, be sure to fill out the remaining text boxes on the final registration form so that folks will know all the details about your study group.
How do I log IN or OUT?
The login link can be found at the top of the page, in the main menu, just below the blue header. The logout link (button) is at the dark gray bar at the very bottom of the web page.
What if I’ve forgotten my username and password?
Your username is your the email address you used to join the site. If you have forgotten your password, click on the Login link in the menu bar at the top of the page, just below the blue header. Fill in your email address, then click on the “Forgot Password?” link and your password will be sent to the email address on file. If this doesn't work, contact us
How do I delete my account?
At this time, you cannot delete your account from the website. You must contact the administrative team who will delete it per your request. Please email us
How do I display a different language?
At the bottom of the webpage, in the dark grey panel, you will find a drop-down menu that allows you to select from the ever-growing list of languages.
Why can’t I find a study group that I know exists?
The most common reason for not finding a study group is that the range of your search needs to be increased. Please notice the “Select Range” drop-down menu. Use it to select a larger range and try your search again.
I'm interested in starting a study group. Can I list myself in this directory?
Yes. Individuals willing to host a study group or who wish to be contacted can be listed in the directory. Be sure to add a note in the description section of your profile to indicate that you are trying to start a study group.
How do I report a study group that I believe to be a problem?
We have defined a study group as one focused on the study of The Urantia Book, open to all readers, apolitical in nature, and free from any activities that may distract students from the teachings of The Urantia Book. If you should encounter a study group or a particular host who you believe should not be listed in our directory, please contact us. We will investigate all reports.
